My research interests concern the molecular recognition of different compounds of interest in pharmaceutical, biological, as well as food preparations, using the infrared spectroscopy technique.
In my entire research activity, from 1978, I have completed 99 papers, 98 have already been published (in Romanian journals – 18, and abroad – 80), while another one is now under review and will be published. There are also several unpublished papers.
More than that, I am a co-author, with H.Y. Aboul-Enein and V.D. Huang, of two books, both published by Elsevier Inc.: Vibrational Spectroscopy Applications in Biomedical, Pharmaceutical and Food Sciences, published in 2020, and Edible Oils Analysis. Trends in Infrared Spectroscopy and Other Analytical Methods, published in 2025. More than that, there are 6 chapters, all written with Prof. H.Y.
